Fall Of Cybertron Voyager Class Grimlock

went to singapore yesterday so did some figure hunting, Grimlock isn't the only thing i bought ;) still not too sure why there were no grimlocks being stocked in Malaysia. i Guess the suppliers haven't bought ehm yet.. hmm. my first thought was to buy the Takara Tomy, then i was like.. Naaaah

Generations: Deluxe Class Drift

After for a really long time, i finally bought Drift :D . was expecting a united version but hey!. it's better than nothing lol.  found this figure at Time Machine at Bejaya Time Square :D all the rares >w<.

so i'll just make a short review for it, was suppose to do reviews for FOC Starscream,Delta Gundam Kai and Blurr.. been kinda lazy now a days to take snapshots(but still can take toy photography :P). 

Fun fact: Drift was an ex-Decepticon and previously named as Deadlock.

Transformers United: Ultramagnus

Finally found the classics Ultramagnus(asia exclusive from Takara) which i bought from this place call 1Toys in Amm Corp Mall Putrajaya. I must say that Takara did a  good job painting Ultramagnus full white like the G1 Ultramagnus. Wanted to review this after getting the City Commander set but i got ripped off :L so i had to switch to United Beast Megatron (might not do a post on that one~~)

except this one was very g1 Optimus like hehe twins lol xD

this was supposed to be posted last week after returning to Johor . but i came back to johor to pack up my stuff since now i'm moving up to KL. (because studying~~~)

Bruticus small mods

it's nothing much really. just a small minor mod and random add- on to it.. lolol. so i really really hate that karate chopping hand that hasbro gave for Vortex's arm mode... >_< so decided to remove it and replace it with one of my old MG Gunpla scraps

FOC Combaticons

Finally completed collecting the Fall of Cybertron Combaticons. Used to complain about it.. but getting it .. incase of any third party upgrades.. knowing these kinds of things might happen ..since these Combaticon figures really need some major upgrades.. :L Hopes for Fansproject upgrades :3. it's also funny is that their Vehicle mode looks way better than the robot mode.

G2 Tank Megatron (Bludgeon Remold)

Here's my review for the Asia Exclusive, Voyager class Generation 2 Tank Megatron. As you can see from the figure it is a remold of the ROTF Bludgeon.

HG Age 1/144 Gundam Age-3 Orbital

Bought myself another new haul which is the High Grade 1/144 Gundam Age-3 Orbital mode

I must say that this is really well put out kit really love the design ever since they released the add-on spoiler images >_>.  The Orbital Add-on has very smexy legs which tempted me to buy this over United Beast Megatron XD and FOC Combaticons ;____;"

but any how, this is really a great kit.

 note* was kinda lazy to build the core splender so decided to reuse my previous AGe-3 normal.

as you can see that the feet could be folded down flat so it could stand without the default gundam stand.

colors around the shoulders reminds me of a pokeball xD 

Here are thrusters that helps Orbital to move fast

 Action and gimmicks would be the same as the Normal Age -3 so i don't have to go over it again

Place to store or take out the beam saber 

this is the G-Viper in alternate mode.

The whole kit is really stable, and since i've been playing with it for quite a while now, the only down side to this figure is the Shoulder Thrusters, as it some times gets in the way for certain shoulder articulations. But overall the whole kit is great i'll give this 9/10, worth paying for anyways:)

Digital Art with Youmu

Okay to start off with my post, this is my first Touhou Character i drew which is Youmu Konpaku, software i used is Paint Tool Sai, and a Kanvus Office 54 Tablet.. so what i did was some small research on Youmu and some references as well, then did a rough sketch with a pencil

next yet use the 1.0 out line pent to trace out her  out and erase the pencil lines out

right after that i exported it into the Paint Tool sai and used the pen tool to trace her out one more time xD only used one layer for Youmu

OKay next, i create number of layers under the trace out layer and start painting with the normal brush tool and start painting xD. took me 2 days to finish this .____."

Killing 2 birds with one stone XD

kinda noobish >,> but Practice makes perfect 8'D been going through loads of Tutorials and speed painting videos lately hehe

Takara Tomy Transformers United: Optimus Primal

Finally After many months on being slightly patient i have bought the Optimus Primal x3 Even for a Deluxe size figure Optimus Primal is packaged in a box which is twice it's size LOL. A very Voyager Box Packaging xD.

Gotta love the packaging. funny that the box is twice the size as the figure xD it could fit a voyager XD

I must say i really like the figure.. and through my whole life.. i finally got my hands on Optimus Primal. inb4 this i never bought Primal D: well maybe it was 2 Transmetal and Beast Machine. but not the original one himself. but for this Optimus.. he's kinda the Cybertron Edition because it comes with the POwer up- Key which opens up the surfboard

 to be a blaster. Funny how it relates to the Transmetal and the Original together. sadly this doesn't have shoulder pads. but i'm okay with it.
hmm doesn't expose obvious parts in Beast Mode and the Robot mode as well. except the feet.. in Robot mode
transformation is easy. it's like turning him upside down
He's got a nice head sculpture which i rike >;3. been thinking whether to paint the mouth with metallic blue? idk
Articulation is not bad. wish they'ed given the hands 360 ariticulations :|
my figure for this is pretty stiff some joints are kinda tight . but it'll get used it to it.
Details is pretty good
I like the beast mode though. but wished the colors were slightly grey for the face and the chest
also realized the Maximal Logo is not on the figure =3=" grrrr
So yeah. that wraps up about Primal. figure i'de give around 9/10.
